
Michelle Trachtenberg hails from New York City and is an American actress. Her grandparents reside in Israel however, she is a fan of Christmas, as well as all other religions. She went to at a Catholic high school as she believed that tuition was less expensive as compared to one of the Jewish one. Her mother Lana works as a bank manager and their father Michael Trachtenberg is a fiber-optics engineer. Michelle Trachtenberg began her career at a young age. She's appeared in a number of movies, commercials as well as TV shows. Most famously, she is Dawn Summers, the regular role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Michelle Trachtenberg was raised in Brooklyn, Sheepshead Bay with her sister Irene. She was a student at The Bay Academy for the Arts and Sciences in the year she was a junior high student. Then, she went to Notre Dame High School Sherman Oaks in California. She can speak Russian. Trachtenberg is the recipient of several awards including her Young Artist Award, Sarasota Film Festival, and received nominations for the Teen Choice Award, YoungStar Award, Saturn Award, as well as the Daytime Emmy Award.
